Student Council / Leadership

Student Council and Leadership at Mingus Union High School is more than just a class or club—it's an opportunity to make a lasting impact on our campus and school culture.

Through teamwork, service, creativity, and school spirit, our student leaders plan and organize events, support school traditions, recognize student achievements, and help create an engaging and inclusive environment for all Marauders. From spirit weeks and assemblies to community service projects and campus activities, Leadership students play an important role in shaping the Mingus experience.

As both an elective course and an extracurricular organization, Student Council & Leadership provides students with valuable opportunities to develop communication, organization, collaboration, and leadership skills that extend far beyond high school.
